| Măsurători pentru calibrarea stației automate instalate în cadrul proiectului european Danube Region Water Lighthouse Action – DALIA
În cursul acestei luni, specialiștii noștri s-au deplasat la stația hidrometrică Sulina Semnal Ceață, în vederea efectuării de măsurători pe Brațul Sulina, în zona pilot DPS7 din cadrul proiectului DALIA, finanțat din fonduri europene. Pe teren au fost efectuate măsurători de debite și au fost prelevate probe de apă de lăngă stația automată instalată în luna ianuarie 2024, necesare pentru calibrarea senzorului optic, care înregistrează continuu, în apropierea malului drept, concentrațiile de aluviuni în suspensie (a turbidității apei). Stația automată are ca scop îmbunătățirea monitorizării cantității de sedimente care ajung în Marea Neagră prin brațul Sulina și a celor 4 parametri hidro-meteorologici (pentru temperatura aerului/apei, salinitatea/nivelul apei). De asemenea, au fost efectuate activități de întreținere a senzorilor acesteia. ––––––––––––- DALIA este un proiect care se concentrează pe bazinul fluviului Dunărea, fiind un proiect inovator, care sprijină noua misiune a Uniunii Europene pentru restaurarea oceanelor și apelor până în anul 2030.

Measurements for the calibration of the automatic station installed within the European project Danube Region Water Lighthouse Action – DALIA
During this month, our specialists went to the Sulina Semnal Ceață hydrometric station, in order to carry out measurements on the Sulina Branch, in the DPS7 pilot area within the DALIA project, financed by European funds. In the field, there were made discharges measurements and were taken water samples near the automatic station installed in January 2024, necessary for the calibration of the optical sensor, which continuously records, near the right bank, the concentrations of suspended sediments (of water turbidity). The automatic station aims to improve the monitoring of the sediments amount reaching the Black Sea through the Sulina Branch, and the 4 hydro-meteorological parameters (for air/water temperature, salinity/water level). Also, there were made maintenance activities of its sensors. ––––––––––– DALIA is a project that focuses on the Danube River Basin, being an innovative project that supports the new mission of the European Union for the restoration of oceans and waters until the year 2030.
