doua Campanie de m\u0103sur\u0103tori, av\u00e2nd misiunea de a efectua m\u0103sur\u0103tori hidrologice pe bra\u021bul Sulina, la regim de ape medii.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Scopul principal a constat \u00een determinarea debitelor \u0219i al bilan\u021bului sedimentelor \u00eentre diverse sec\u021biuni ale acestui bra\u021b.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Astfel, au fost realizate prelev\u0103ri de probe de ap\u0103 \u0219i sedimente, de la ad\u00e2ncimi diferite, utiliz\u00e2nd echipamente specializate, aflate \u00een dotarea institutului.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00cen plus, s-au realizat 20 de profile transversale ale albiei care, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu analiza granulometric\u0103 a sedimentelor efectuat\u0103 \u00een laboratorul institutului, vor ajuta la analiza modific\u0103rilor hidromorfologice ale albiei (depunere\/eroziune).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Campania face parte din proiectul Danube Region Water Lighthouse \u2013 DALIA, finan\u021bat prin programul Horizon Europe, care subliniaz\u0103 importan\u021ba cooper\u0103rii interna\u021bionale \u00een gestionarea resurselor de ap\u0103 \u0219i promovarea solu\u021biilor sustenabile.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Prin urmare, \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021birea sistemului de monitorizare cantitativ\u0103 a sedimentelor va contribui nu doar la o mai bun\u0103 \u00een\u021belegere a dinamicii sedimentelor transportate de Dun\u0103re, ci \u0219i la crearea unor politici mai eficiente pentru protec\u021bia mediului \u0219i a biodiversit\u0103\u021bii din bazinul hidrografic al fluviului Dun\u0103rea, precum \u0219i a condi\u021biilor de naviga\u021bie.<\/td>\n<td width=\"358\"><strong>Navigating towards sustainable solutions: Improving monitoring of sediment transport to the Black Sea<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last week, our researchers went on an expedition with the Lipova ship, in the second measurement Campaign, with the mission of carrying out hydrological measurements on the Sulina branch, at medium water regime.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The main purpose was to establish the discharges and sediment balance between various sections of this branch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Thus, there were collected water and sediment samples from different depths, using specialized equipment provided by the institute.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, there were made 20 cross-sectional profiles of the riverbed which, together with the granulometric analysis of the sediments carried out in the institute laboratory, will contribute to the analysis of the riverbed hydromorphological changes (deposition\/erosion).<\/p>\n<p>The campaign is part of the Danube Region Water Lighthouse \u2013 DALIA project, funded by the Horizon Europe program, which emphasizes the importance of international cooperation in managing water resources and promoting sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the improvement of the quantitative sediment monitoring system will contribute not only to a better understanding of the sediments transported by the Danube dynamics, but also to the creation of more effective policies for the protection of the environment and biodiversity in the Danube river basin, as well as to the navigational
